Our church family ranges in age from infants and toddlers to active seniors. We accept the reality of our oneness in Christ and are a caring people. We care about our fellow worshipers, our neighbors, our community and our world. Our faith leads us in a ministry to our members and friends as well as to people in need throughout the world. |

Who We Are On May 16, 1965, at Cabrillo College, St. Andrew Presbyterian Church was chartered by the Presbytery of San Jose, with 96 charter members. The organizing pastor, Dr. Robert Thomas, also became the first called pastor. As a congregation, we give thanks for our special family of God. We are a church whose members form a warm and supportive Christian fellowship. We care about the individuals and families of our congregation as well as members of the surrounding community. We have an active prayer chain and offer Deacon and Pastoral visits for those who are ill or in need. We invite everyone who is able to join one of our supper clusters: we meet in different homes or at a restaurant or event once a month. These groups are realigned each year to expand our outreach to each other. |

Our church service at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday morning is a special time for us. Children and adults meet in the sanctuary to worship and celebrate Christ’s presence in the world and in our lives. We’re blessed with a splendid choir that adds much to our worship experience. On Sunday mornings the children gather for a special story on the steps of the chancel soon after church starts. They then leave for their Sunday School classes. There is a crib room for toddlers. The Adult Education program, led by Dr. Susan Mahan, meets on Sunday mornings from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. After our service there is a coffee time when people can visit and get to know each other better. |
