On Sunday mornings during the worship service, our children attend their Sunday School class. We use a curriculum called “One-Room Sunday School” which provides a theme-based lesson each week which can be adapted for both readers and pre-readers.
We’ve recently added a new class for our older children.
A team of enthusiastic teachers are on a rotating schedule.

From the Mission Statement and Philosophy
The philosophy of St. Andrew Preschool is that education through play acts as a foundation of a preschooler’s education. Play is important business. Your child will learn many of the most important things that they will ever learn during their pre-school career. Your child will learn about getting along with other children and adults, protecting their rights, being sympathetic to other people’s feelings, and exerting inner control. Your child will experience these important life lessons through play and will learn them best with thoughtful and loving leadership.

Each summer St. Andrew celebrates the combination of kids and music in a week-long Summer Music Camp for children entering grades 1—6. Each morning of the five days, students spend three hours immersed in music activities.
As Children sing and play musical games together they learn about rhythm, pitch and harmonization. Classes include instruction on various instruments including handbells, chime bells and rhythm instruments.
Noon-time recitals by local musicians introduce students and their families to instruments as varied as bagpipes and cellos!
On the Sunday following Summer Music Camp week, children present a church service concert for their families and friends. Afterwards, all are invited to a reception in Hubler Hall.
Our 2011 Music Camp was a resounding success!
Come and join the fun next year! |
