In the spring of 2007, the Saint Andrew Celtic Music Academy was introduced. Four to five-week programs met on Tuesday evenings from 7 pm to 8:30 pm, usually in our sanctuary, but occasionally at other venues.
Local Celtic music teacher, David Brewer, provided an evening of music and conversation. Guest musicians often joined him in presenting Celtic music played on various instruments. David plays seven different Celtic instruments, and we never knew what delights the evening would hold until we showed up. After the formal program, there was usually a Celtic music jam session.
We’re sad to report that Celtic Music Night is coming to an end, as David is relocating to the East Coast.
One More Session: Tuesday, January 17, 2012 Come for our Celtic Music Night farewell party, silent auction, and jam session. We hope to see David next summer!
